    (2021) These are the first two paintings I made since coming back from my second visit to the incredible, majestic and spiritual Carnarvon Gorge in Outback Queensland in 2021. I think this diptych is inspired by our venture up to the lookout at Battleship Spur near our campsite Big Bend. It is one of the hardest climbs I have done so far. But of course totally worth it once we got to the top and was rewarded with the most incredible view over the wide spread canyon we had just hiked through.
