(2022) Recently I visited the Upper Portals at Mt Barney National park with some friends, and came across some pretty special places where water where flowing, streaming and gushing through the wilderness. (2022) The places I have seen here in South East Queensland (so far!) are beyond incredible. The vast mountain ranges, the summits with breathtaking views, the creeks and the deep forests. I am so lucky to live in this part of the world where nature just keeps on giving. I have so much more to explore, and so many more mountains to conquer and paintings to paint. The mountains have been such an inspiration for me this year and I feel this painting is showing the essence of my most recent experiences at the Scenic Rim in South East Queensland. Those incredible mountain ranges and peaks I just love to explore.
